[Modern]¶
Mercenaries¶

The mercenaries are done for the most part. I now re-painted all still to be painted areas black.

The knife wielding guy looked a bit ridiculous to me, so he will be given a shotgun (from Bolt Action's WWII American Range) on a string slung over a shoulder, so he is not the only one without any firepower.

[Weird War II]¶
German Mad Doctor and his Zombie creations¶

I blocked in all the main colour areas. The Dr. and the officer I will paint seperately after all the grunts. The metal areas I painted in vallejo dark rust, skin in vallejo dead flesh, black areas in black, helmets in German Grey.

The larger rust areas were stippled with light rust.

The metal areas were then drybrushed in vallejo chainmail, the buttons were painted in chainmail.

Mercenaries¶

I started painting the mercenaries, here the current status:

Squad done :-)

You can find more detailed pictures on my webpage.

[15mm]¶
Corporate Marines¶

Thanks to Tobias I have my prototpye. It fits well onto he model :-)

With the basic form confirmed, I added some more details. On the front wall I added a bench with 5 seats. This will be quite cramped, but this is a military vehicle after all and no luxury plane.

On the rear side I added a seat for the gunner, and two racks with spare ammo drums for the machine gun.

This is the final version now that I will use with the landers.

[Warfork 40.000 - Rogue Rules]¶
Imperial Flush Space Marines¶

Here are the models in their current state deployed in formation. The extra four models are replacement weapons for the support weapons in the fire teams, regulating firepower depending on mission requirements.

Still to do:

  • static grass for the bases
  • replace the flimsy, broken plastic rods with metal rods
  • create and paint the back banners
  • create the decals for the shoulder pads. I don't want to paint the chapter icon on all these models as a free hand design...

[15mm]¶
Corporate Marines¶

Finally some progress. I roughly recreated the machine gun from Brigade Models in OpenSCAD, and added in the rear wall an opening for the gunner. The machine gun will be mounted on the contraption I added there.

Time for a test print.

Squat Brotherhood Sappers¶

I finished most areas, left to do are the beards, the glasses and the unit markings. I am still unsure, whether ir not I will try to follow

I now gave the models a coat of gloss varnish to protect the work done so far. The gloss coat will allow me to remove paint with alcohol without damaging the underlying colour, this might be helpful with the free hand shoulder pad designs I plan to do.
