[Spirit Island]¶
Dahan¶

To finish the models, I layered several different flock types/colours from Woodland Scenics to the base.

Here is a game board with lands with the exact same content; on the left are the models from the game, on the right the ones I painted.

[Spirit Island]¶
Dahan¶

The models were smoothed into the bases with filler, then the white filler was painted brown and drybrushed earth.

[Spirit Island]¶
Dahan¶

The Dahan were washed with oil paints.

I used a thin wash of green near to the ground to represent moss, then brown over the whole model as the main wash, and finally black around windows and doors.

Then the models were glued to the poker chips.

[Spirit Island]¶
Dahan¶

I basecoated the models in black. I then painted the ground in dark brown and drybrushed it with earth brown. The huts were then basecoated in khaki.

Then huts and ground were drybrushed in sand (upper two rows).

As replacements of the cities for Spirit Island, I choose 'BG114 Small Village' from Irregular Miniture's 2mm range.

The models were way too big for the Koplow Casino Stacking Poker Chips they will be mounted on, so I cut back the base and removed the outermost building and trees.

Still, the round hut was too far out, so I cut it off, shortened the space between the square and round hut, and glued it back in.

Here are all the converted models.
