The tunic and gloves I wanted to keep black, for highlighting them I choose green for the tunic (the same colour I used to shade the red) and brown for the gloves. Both colours were mixed with Matte Medium and water. I then glazed the colours onto the raised areas in 2-4 steps, slowly building up the highlights.

I am not quite sure how to do the base yet, so I just painted it grey for now. The model is done.

It always amazes me how many colours I use with just a single model...

Next step was to paint the holy book of the Brotherhood.

It was washed with Secret Weapon Washes Sewer Water, then highlighted with the base colours.

The brown was washed a second time with Sewer Water.

A final light layer of the base brown was applied as highlight.

The metal received a final edge hightlight of silver, all as of yet unpainted areas were repainted black.

The tubes were carefully highlighted with a light grey and a fine brush.

I started to paint the model. I decided for black clothing and red armour with gold decorations. As shading colour for the red I decided for green, which is the complementary colour to red. The black will also be highlighted with green to tie the areas together.

To reward Tobias with a picture if his lot of miniatures as soon as possible, I started with a single miniature, the Brotherhood Sacred Warrior.

First, I removed the paint of the half-painted model. For this I sprayed the mini with oven cleaner.

After ~20 minutes I scrubbed the mini with a hand brush, which removed about half of the paint.

After a second treatment with the oven cleaner and a hand brush colour only remained in the recesses.

These last remnants I removed with a hobby knife while also removing the flash lines Tobias missed back then.

Finally, the model was basecoated with 74.602 Black Surface Primer from Vallejo, brushed on in two thin layers.
