[Spirit Island]
Cities

The cities were washed with oil paints.

I used a thin wash of green near to the ground to represent moss, then brown over that and a little bit higher up to represent mud splatter, and finally black everywhere where I thought I needed some more definition.

Then the models were glued to the poker chips.

[Spirit Island]
Blight

The blight marker of the game will not be replaced. I cut of the lower rim on the base to lower their total height. Then I basecoated them with Vallejo grey primer.

The whole marker was then painted 70.952 Lemon Yellow, followed by several washes:

  • Secret Weapon Washes #29 Fallout
  • Vallejo 76.512 Dark Green
  • Vallejo 76.514 Dark Brown

The end result was not what I intended, so I gloss varnished them and applied an additional wash with Winsor & Newton Sap Green.

After matt varnishing them I glued them to the poker chips.

Dahan

I basecoated the models in black. I then painted the ground in dark brown and drybrushed it with earth brown. The huts were then basecoated in khaki.

Then huts and ground were drybrushed in sand (upper two rows).

Dahan

As replacements of the cities for Spirit Island, I choose 'BG114 Small Village' from Irregular Miniture's 2mm range.

The models were way too big for the Koplow Casino Stacking Poker Chips they will be mounted on, so I cut back the base and removed the outermost building and trees.

Still, the round hut was too far out, so I cut it off, shortened the space between the square and round hut, and glued it back in.

Here are all the converted models.

Towns

As replacements of the towns for Spirit Island, I choose 'BG105 Courtyard Farm' from Irregular Miniture's 2mm range.

The models nearly fit the Koplow Casino Stacking Poker Chips they will be mounted on, I hust had to clip back the base a bit and cut away the two trees at the corner of the barn.

Here are all the models.

Cities

As replacements of the cities for Spirit Island, I choose 'BG114 Small Village' from Irregular Miniture's 2mm range.

The whole model is too large for the Koplow Casino Stacking Poker Chips the models will be mounted on, so I started by cutting it down.

As there was still some space on the chip, I cut the two connected houses from the off-cut and re-glued them to the street.

All the models converted.
