I painted the windows of the ships in grey green, then applied highlights with pale green. The weapons/engines were painted black steel. The ships were then varnished with gloss varnish in preparation of the final oil wash.

I finished the last (well, see below) models. As you may have noticed, all the horns on the helmets (also from models of the previous groups) are just black. That is, because there are only 5 models with horns, and I wanted to paint them all together, so I saved them till the end.

As I mentioned in my first post on the Nordmen, I am 6 models short of the maximum allowed number of the army list. While recently shopping for some monsters for Frostgrave with West Wind, I ordered another troop pack. You only get them as 10 model packs, so now I am a bit above the maximum allowance.
